I was watching the ISS streak by at 18,000mph the other night, and thought of something we saw last time we were down.

I guess the title of the post gives it away...

we were looking up at the sky on Jost van Dyke with the binoculars and noticed this VERY bright object in the sky that was seriously color shifting. looked like a sparkling diamond star.

anyway, it was a lot of fun postulating about UFOs. It should be there now.

of course everyone knows about the pizza smile

When you get away from the light polution that is almost everywhere here in the US it is amazing what you can see. In the BVI when there is no Sahara dust you can sit back and look up for 10 minutes just after sunset and see at least 4 or 5 satilites whiz past. It is amazing how much junk is floating around up there.
