Having been there many times in Feb./March and also in the August to October range, I would disagree. The water to me is significantly cooler (but still decent) in the Fe./March time period. I don't get that chart and assessment at all.

Here is another Chart that shows more what I would expect. I Googled several other sites and have yet to find one that agrees with the one originally posted.

This chart concerns Saint Martin in Mauritius - that's in the Indian Ocean.

timmycs said: i agree, something wrong with the chart. No, the chart is correct! It is a chart for St. Martin in Mauritius, which is an island in the Indian Ocean off the southeast coast of southern Africa in the SOUTHERN hemisphere. It is just as far SOUTH of the equator as the Caribbean island of St. Martin in the NORTHERN hemisphere is NORTH of the equator.... So when it is winter in the caribbean, it is summer in the Indian Ocean and vice-versa... The chart is correct, it is just NOT drawn for OUR St. Martin... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />
