Another post got me thinking...
What's your favorite Hot Dog Topping?
Personally my favorite is KFC Cole Slaw (or Deb's homemade) that I mix some diced Pineapple into...
sometimes I put a little Madras Curry into it too...
and/or carmalized onions & apples...
and Dijon Mustard or Spicy Brown...

No chili dogs for me (or cheese of any kind on a Hot Dog!)...
I prefer chili on it's own... and on a hot dog, it's way too messy!

I also like Sabrettes Onions with mustard...

You know I'm usually not very opinionated, <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

I'll start off by saying that anyone who puts
Ketchup on a Hot Dog ought to be shot ! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duel.gif" alt="" />

All that belongs on a Hot Dog is mustard (preferably Gulden's) and relish, and sometimes sauerkraut, period. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

Sorry Brian, but Cole Slaw and Pineapple on Hot Dogs is just weird. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/hammer.gif" alt="" />

You opinionated??? Never!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
Don't knock it til you've tried it... lots of sweet/hot/crunchy going on... add some good Madras Curry for some good heat...
You should add a really good hot mustard...
I do like either Nance's or Mr. Mustard best...

Not sure, but I think the Cole Slaw thingy is either from Chicago or one of the Carolinas...
Hey sauerkraut is cabbage, as is cole slaw...

I love mustard, relish, and onions on mine. But the slaw sounds good too. I may have to try it.

Brian, I like mustard (Gulden's) and relish on my Belly Buster hot dog. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

I vary my mustards depending on mood. The only other thing I add is chopped onion sweet or red.

We do have a hot dog joint in town and the owner will throw you out if you request ketchup!

Although I don't eat hot dogs often for all the normal excuses, when the mood strikes a new york city "dirty water" off a push cart with mustard and kraut is my way of thinking and yes, alcohol is generally a factor.

Either or, they are both better than the normal deli/supermarket stuff. I think (like I said alcohol is a factor) Sabretts are the dirty water carts in NYC, at least they have the umbrellas that say so. Darn, now I feel like having one. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

Turkey dog and KETCHUP!! Like the bun toasted, too! Hubby likes his w/mustard (<img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Sick.gif" alt="" />) & relish, which he calls 'pickalilli'!! I'd be willing to try the coleslaw bit. I do add coleslaw to sandwiches which is our favorite way to eat them! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />
