Hi everyone, I will be returning for my 8th trip to St. Martin in May! Just wondering has anyone ever stayed at L'Hoste (now La Playa)? If anyone can give me any info that would be great. Thank you ! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

Stayed there several times many years ago. Convenient walk to morning, afternoon or evening needs, including pool or the beach. Do not park close to the walk if heavy showers are possible as that part of the parking lot flooded quite deeply.

We stayed there 3 times with the last time in 2008. Our son stayed there in December 2015 and enjoyed it except during the day when cruisers filled the beach. We are now booked to stay there May 10-19. Hopefully it will be as good as it was 8 years ago

I just came back from a 30 day stay at La Playa. My 11th January in a row I have been there. The staff is the best, the location is perfect.

A 30 day stay and no trip report? We are patiently waiting as many here would love to hear the details of LA Playa and your other island adventures.

Great location. European breakfast included.
It was our "go to" hotel for years.

We stayed there in 2014 and loved it. We are returning again this March. It’s not the Four Seasons, but it is nice. We upgraded to a Jr. Suite, had an upstairs room with a somewhat view of the ocean as it was mostly blocked by palm trees. If you are expecting the Ritz or a Marriott, you’ve picked the wrong place. It is a small independent hotel in a fantastic location; it’s right in the middle of Orient beach. We enjoyed the room and the property very much. It came with a continental breakfast as well as chairs on the beach. They also have a small bar on the beach called “La Playa” and they make a great drink called a B&B – give it a try. The staff was wonderful. We liked it so much we’re coming back.
