We will be staying at the Summit on the day of Super Bowl. We have never stayed in that area. Where should we go to watch the Super Bowl. And any good restaurant suggestions in that area?

A few close suggestions. Bar Code very close to you? Basilica at the Starz Casino? Three Amigos at Maho Complex?

Respectfully,

pat

Also, Equinox sports bar at Cupecoy. Casino Royale, or any casino, for that matter. Basically, it will be on pretty much everywhere.

I highly recommend Bar Code. It is a lovely bar and restaurant with great food and service and a very nice ambiance close to The Summit. We have watched games there and had a great time!

The Sunset Grill at Grand Case Beach Club is having a buffet /drinks/ big screen Super Bowl party. Looks like all you can eat/drink for $29 pp. their food is very good. Had lunch there today and saw the sign at the bar. Reservations are required

I have heard good reports of the new Asian/fusion restaurant that's right AT the Summit. There is a bar there too, and they might be having a Super Bowl party.
As for other nearby restaurants, you are very close to both Starz Casino and Porto Cupecoy, where there are several restaurants.

That is a term I have only heard in NC. My wife grew up in Raleigh and I had no idea what she was talking about when I heard that term. Around here (OH) it is a pig roast or a hog roast.

Hopefully it is a good game.

In looking through the online version of the Out'N About section of the Daily Herald, there are a lot of options for Super Bowl parties. Really odd that Buccaneer Beach Bar is showing a Cleveland Browns player in their ad. I am sure it is a "generic" ad but a Browns player!! A team that have never been to the Super Bowl.

I saw in the Daily Herald that the Casino Royale party starts at 6:30 PM. Also remember that the time is one hour later in SXM, so that is still an hour before kickoff.
