Has anyone downloaded a movie from the I-tunes store while staying at Club O. We do not want to overload the Wi-Fi but thought we might try it during the middle of the day when usage may be less. Is there anything we should know before we venture forth?

We expected with the new tvs that the wifi would be awesome Well, the new tv's are awesome (except annoying pay your bill msg from directi tv), but the net is about the same. We had better signal strength on the beach than we did in the unit. And the net was constantly asking for re-login. Annoying. We tried to download movie from vudu and it never came down. Also couldn't stream it. Tried several nights. Routine surfing was pretty good. That same movie came right down at our hotel in Miami. So, hopefully you get better results. Like I said beach connection better than room.

A suggestion I've used with wifi at Club O. The strongest signal doesn't always mean the fastest connection. If your speed is not acceptable, try logging onto another router. You can also run a speedtest by logging onto the speedtest website before you begin a download. The speedtest website will give you a measurement of the actual upload/download speed and then you can decide if you want to download or switch routers.
