Getting out of this Illinois winter and headed to Orient mid February. We are staying in the Village and were wondering if Club O still allows parking and use of chairs/umbrellas for a fee?? If this has been discussed lately my apologies...I must not be very good at using the search option!

Ill weather has not been that bad this year ( at least mid state). But for some reason the winter temps are the same number-wise but seem alot colder. We are going down first of March.

They definitely do still allow rental of chairs and umbrellas. The beach is very narrow right now, so you may not be able to get the ticket books but may have to just buy by the day, which is more expensive

We bought the booklet of tickets last year. Hopefully they'll be selling them by Mid-February when we get there as well. FRIGID temps in Nebraska -6 yesterday morning and -7 this morning. January is too long of a month.

Last Feb I THINK it was $120 for a booklet of 7 tickets, and it was either $22 or $24 per day. That got you supervised parking, 2 chairs and an umbrella. Historically, you've gotten 7 days for the price of 6 by buying the booklet at the watersports shack. We'll know for sure in a month or so

I think 2 chairs and an umbrella are $20 for the day. Watersports is still selling the 6 day pkg that can be used over 7 days for $120. The beach is getting bigger everyday, so chairs should not be a problem. Parking in the Club Orient lot is $5 / day until May 1st, then it's free until Nov 1st (this may be included in the pkg price, but I'm not sure about that part).

I think the package is for seven days and you get nine days to use them. This was the way it was unless it has recently changed.Parking was also included in the package.
