I cannot say enough about this restaurant. This place is soooo good and a lot of fun. The decor is so cute and you are right on Simpson bay . So the place was cool with a lovely breeze. We ordered a couple of pizzas and a couple of bottles of wine. Just an aside , they have an extensive menu for dinner for those who don't want pizza. They have a very extensive wine list for all of the wine lovers and u can go into their wine room to look at the bottles. The pizza was superb. We had one four cheese, one margarita and one spicy pepperoni. The crust was on the thinner side and cooked perfectly. The staff were lovely . Now for the fun part, they have a singer who comes around with a mic and you can sing with him. All music is suitable for dining. For example, frank Sinatra, French music, Italian ballads. He was excellent.. It was a wonderful evening. Thanks to whomever posted about it earlier. You were correct. It is wonderful . I highly recommend everyone to go

I would like to know this also. Maybe this is somewhere different than I thought it was, as I THOUGHT it was on the Lagoon, where a bunch of different places have been and failed, but the OP said on Simpson Bay..

It was definitely on Simpson LAGOON when we were there right after it reopened on the Dutch side from Marigot. But then it was closed for a while if I remember some of the writings here so perhaps it has relocated again? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Yes, right where Happy Hour Tours were originally located before they moved to the Chesterfield location in Philipsburg.

There was a restaurant and bar there , several different ones actually over the years, so perhaps one was called Iron Horse.

Facing Cugini's, when they first opened up in Simpson Bay, there was a bar to the right side, but darn it can't recall the name. It was supposed to be open for breakfast, lunch, and supper, and believe it was still open later 2015. I was enjoying a cocktail there before dinner at Cugini's one night, and was glad to leave only because those little night bugs that come out at dusk were nipping my toes. Cugini's opened in the Simpson Bay location a couple months before the new restaurant / bar to the right opened up. So whether it is called Iron Horse Bar is still a question mark for me.

Iron Horse closed about 7 to 8 years ago. A father built Iron Horse bar for his son , and the buildings on the side which had several businesses. It didn't last long , the son was too busy with poker runs. Some nights there was a band playing to the right. Andy had his cigar shop in one for a while. So this might be where Cugini's is now.
Looking on the Bing map, the original Peg Leg complex, carousel and the Iron Horse.

We went too Cugini last night and was happy to see that Sam was there. He looked good considering his situation and greeted a lot of people including us. The meals were as usual excellent and they had a singer there who was quite good. Only issue I had was that like many other places ; they play the music too Loud. I guess they think we all are deaf. Outside of that I would recommend that all should put Cugini on there list of restaurants to visit when on Island.
