I am an owner at Simpson Bay so last night we ventured down to I Sola Which is next to Hollywood Casino. I must say, I was quite disappointed. While my tuna was not bad, it was just so so. It was a tuna steak over greens. It was nicely sliced but really no seasonings . My sister had the tagliatelle bolognas and that was also not that good. We were surprised as my cousin had loved it only a week earlier The service was not great but our water said people had quit. I had to ask for some kind of hot sauce or something for the tuna 3x and my sister in law had the same with bread. Yet, he fawned over another table I am writing this review because I would not want anyone to drive out of there way to come here. What I am recommending is the Sunset Sail on the Lambada. The crew was awesome, the snacks were good. The only problem is we had one person who was sick and Aqua Mania would not refund the money and last night 76 people were on board. Tonight we are going to Guguni that someone on this site wrote about. Looking forward to it. Buccaneer Beach today was awesome. Water was lovely an food is good. I also had a fantastic massage by Paulette

We have tried Isola a couple of times (comped by the casino) and have not been impressed either time.
Not sure I understand the issue with getting a refund on the Sunset cruise?? I have been on Regatta spectator boats with multiple people sick. One time someone was sick before we got out of the lagoon! If the boat went out and completed the tour there would be no reason for a refund unless I am missing something. Please clarify.

I had heard that also and the place is usually nearly empty. I will say that it was PACKED Friday evening....

They were sick before the cruise. When we went down to the marina we told them we would be 8 instead of 9 people. Would it be possible to get the refund .

Ok, sorry that is not how I understood it. Perhaps had you notified Aqua Mania ahead of time they would have worked with you. Not sure what the policy is but usually anything not cancelled prior to a specific deadline does not qualify for a refund.
I am booked on a Regatta spectator boat with Aqua Mania and the confirmation states a 24 hour cancellation notice for 100% refund and 50% refund if cancelled less than 24 hours before departure. No show-no refund.
Hope the person is ok now.

On a previous trip to SXM we ate at the L'Isola and our experience was just the same. The service and the food were unacceptable; we will not dine there again - there are too many fine, outstanding restaurants in SXM.
