OK, starting over here!!! R City will perform on SATURDAY night, and Akon on Sunday night. I had no idea who either of them were. Man I'm old!

I read this also and am confused as they indicate they will play Saturday night. The main headliner has played Sunday night in the past.
According the the Regatta facebook page the Sunday night headliner is "AKON" and I have no idea who that is either.

AKON was born in St. Louis from Senegalese parents. His style is RnB but very close to Rap.
Nominated 4 times for a Grammy, he has co-produced songs with Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson.
Not my cup of tea, but well worth it if your into that kind of music.

AKON is a hip hop artist based in Atlanta, originally from Senegal, Rock City is group from St. Thomas USVI, who worked for Akon in the past. Rock City wrote songs for many stars now they are producing under their own label.
