Our daughter arrived yesterday and at dinner last night a dental crown she had done on a front tooth, 2 weeks ago broke off.
I recall a recent thread on good dentist here in SXM. There is a dental clinic close to us at the Belair but won't be open until Monday. Any suggestions?

Check with the front desk at your hotel - they should have a list of dentists available / check link above and make a few calls -or you may have to wait until tomorrow -

A friend used Dr. Halley in Simpson Bay with good results but your problem may be the fact it is Sunday. Like Bobcat said, check with your hotel first.

Good luck.

Thanks all for the quick replays. Yes, we checked with front desk. They suggested French Hospital for immediate help or wait til Monday for Dental clinic if pain was minimal.
Just wanted any personal input. Thanks again.

Probably best to wait until tomorrow - the dentist likely will use a temporary cement so that your regular dentist can go over the situation with your daughter when you return home. Bite carefully !!

I had the same problem--broken crown. I went to phillipsburg and saw 2 dentists from same practice. They were amazing and kind. I saw them for 3 consecutive days and the cost was 250.00 which was a deal for the time spent. I had a significant abcess and was thankful to reach them. the website is www.drchemla.com (he is american) 201 front st. phillipsburg. Phone 721-542-2814. Good luck!!!

Jody Rosen (long time SXM resident) suggested the same dentists. Left them a message and am hoping they can see her this morning. Thank you.

I wish I had thought of this when I first read this thread, as it's probably too late to help now, but there's a product available in a drug store here, and I'm sure in the pharmacies there, that you can use as a temporary adhesive to hold the cap in place until you can get it permanently replaced.

Actually had that cement with us but tooth under crown broke and post had to be replaced as well. We definitely needed a professional.
We went to Dental office at 201 Front Street and post was replaced and crown was cemented. $175 but thanks to travel insurance my daughter should get all but $50 back.

AMEN!
Interesting experience.
Lisa was just stopped on the beach by a guy that had a tooth break last night and he was told to talk to us. Very grateful for the info. Does this give us better odds at the Power Ball?
