Was very late in putting together a video from our trip last July. Finally took the time last weekend to finish it. Sure makes me look forward to going back down. All video filmed with a GoPro Hero and photos with an Iphone 6.

Hope y'all enjoy as much as I enjoy reading all of your trip reports and watching videos.

Great video. I still haven't gone through all of my stuff from our June trip, so you're way ahead of me.

Thanks. We were fortunate to borrow the SUP's from a friend who lives near Smuggler's Cove. But I highly recommend renting from Scott and Debs at Island Surf and Sail www.bviwatertoys.com. He can deliver the boards to you to use for a day or more.

How are things on the redneck riviera this time of year?
I live in Pell City just east of B'ham.

Awesome. I lived in Birmingham a few years after college. The Redneck Riviera is pretty good this time of year. Snowbirds/retirees just arrived from up north for their annual visit. We have had tons of rain the past few weeks, like ya'll have but typically it is a great time on the coast. A little cool, but a chilly day at the beach is better than one somewhere else right?

Just got back from the Riveria! My daughter lives in Orange Beach and she works in Gulf Shores. I love your neck of the woods!!

Thanks for sharing, Gulfdiver! I love trip videos and wish more of them were posted to the board! I know there's a lot of work that goes into cutting the clips and putting together the video, so thanks again! Great job.

Wow, what are the odds. It is a great place to live and to vacation to. My wife and I grew up here and we love it. Small town so I may even know your daughter. What a small world.

Love it! We sat at dinner tonight talking about our upcoming VG trip I a month. We just lit a fire in the fireplace and I showed my husnpband this video.

Our son is 10yo and those little years and wonderful travel memories brought tears to our eyes.
