I received my Global Entry renewal notice this weekend. It is a 5 year program. Unfortunately I have to go for another 15 minute interview, what a pain in the backside as there isn't an entry interview location in Tulsa and the earliest I could schedule was Feb 11th at DFW.

I found out something interesting....
I was a VERY early GE guy....when you did not get the cards, just the CBP sticker on the passport. If you let your GE expire, your TSA-PRE goes away. most of the time I was flying through Amsterdam, that has a different system so I dropped it.

I renewed mine about a year ago, and as I was completing the paperwork online, it appeared I would need to schedule another interview. Then when I submitted the information, my GE was renewed without scheduling an interview (apparently it was waived?). You might find the same thing?

I was hoping for waiving, perhaps my list of countries I have traveled to in the past 5 years was too long, who knows.
