Has anyone of y'all personally used a special florist for an on island wedding? If so, which one. I've looked at the FB page of the TTOL sponsor, but not interested in the arrangements shown. Can any of you wonderful posters assist?

Hi. Just because you didn't see what you wanted on the web page of St Marten Flowers doesn't mean that they can't help you. Flower arrangements on a web page are mere suggestions. I'm sure if your friend contacts them, they could suggest something else.

Sorry, after rereading my original post I could have chosen better words to explain my question. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" /> What I meant is that I'm not making any choices...my goal is to supply my girlfriend with a list of at least three then I'm stepping out of the picture other than attend. We all know that when you've been to our "home away from home" for many years our buddies believe we know everyone on island. PLUS, I for one do not want to make any choices when it comes to party and for sure wedding plans for someone else's daughter.

As Kate mentioned, Black Orchid is wonderful! If they work in St Maarten that's good. I'm sure they must.....the flowers probably come through the airport there...

They did my Anguilla wedding, and I had very specific requirements for flowers and colors that they had to fly in. Even though I had a wedding planner attending to details, they also attended the ceremony to be certain everything went perfectly. They were also able to erect a structure on the beach with sheer voile panels.

Jeannie from Shop and Drop helped us with getting a cake and also tried to help with the flowers. Florists are closed on Sunday apparently and we needed the flowers for early Mon. morning so we had to find our own arrangement. The flowers were too expensive to get them on a Sat and hope they would be ok for later on Monday.
