So how's the rest of Orient Beach. 8 more days until I'm on SXM. What's doing with the northern part of Orient? Are things relatively normal on the part that isn't being reconstructed?

We spent today at Kakao, which is the same as it was, except for a coat of paint. There is still a fair amount of seaweed along the beach, and Carl at Kakao said the new machine doesn't work. Hopefully that will be worked out.

Palm Beach is no longer taking cruise tours, and has a watersports operation set up. Everything else is about the same.

We didn't walk thar far. There is zero beach in front of Pedros, and you have to climb up makeshift steps to get past Pedros and over to Club O.

I thought today was your sail day on the Celine Too. Change in plans and Orient instead?

The others went, but it was never our plan to go.

That much time on a boat just isn't our thing, but it seems those that went had a great time.

They have built a large retaining wall in front of the restaurant so you can walk past, but at restaurant level and not beach level. In general not as much sand @ Club O, seems to be more down from Coco Beach to Mt Vernon. The beach continues to "ebb and flow."
