I spoke with Nick a week ago and was told that the new washing machines were on island. Has anyone seen them and are they working?

Yeah! New machines at Leverick. Hopefully they will be installed by our trip in January.t

When I was there in August only one was working. Nick said there were new ones coming. Island time!!!

Still havnt received them. Chasing the order right now folks

As of yesterday, still only one working and two of the dryers are down.

a RULE OF THUMB I TRY TO FOLLOW WHEN ON A TRIP TO THE ISLANDS: BRING YOUR WORST UNDERWEAR WITH YOU .. eVERY DAY I WILL BUY A NEW t-SHIRT OR TWO AND EVERY MORNING I GET UP AND THROW THE T SHIRT I WORE TO BED INTO THE TRASH.. THIS WAY I ARRIVE HOME WITH ALL NEW T-SHIRTS WITH FANCU LOGOS ON THEM WHICH ,WHEN I USED TO WORK ,MADE MY CO WORKERS VERY JEALOUS ..NOW A DAYS I DON'T WORK ANY MORE SO I JUST BUY NEW SHIRTS AND UNDER PANTS WHERE EVER I CAN FIND THEM AND TOSS OUT THE OLD <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Woof.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Woof.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Woof.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Woof.gif" alt="" />

All pleased to know3 machines were fitted on the weekend, now for the dryers. The machines that came were wrong, so we have had to put the old tops on the new bottoms, if you see what I mean. The manufacturer is sending 2 more for correct ones free

But then again laundry day is not quiet the same at home is it??
...the view, the pool, the cool ones and the company are certainly missing

One other good bit of news we have a cash machine going in, don't ask me when but we do have the structure round it built

My "Ask Nick" has been rented to Arawak so nothing new there and nothing decided yet re Walmart. Trying to find a new abode for Ask Nick

Just having fun with you Nick. I certainly hope we never see Walmart in the BVI.
