Heading down on 1/22 planning on heading over to Trellis for the full moon party on the 23rd. In the past this has been a bit of a slower week in the BVI but wondering what time we should plan on getting into the harbor to secure a mooring ball…… Have seen some photos were it looks like people are anchored on top of each other. If that is the case where would you tie up if you had a choice? In close to enjoy the show or near the outer harbor for a safe getaway? Thanks

I would take a slip at Scrub and take the ferry over to the party. Will cost you a bit more, but no hassle.

Not planning to be in Trellis that night (but plans change). But look for us throughout that week. Lagoon 450 flying a TTOL burgee! All guys trip away from the wives and kids. Look out!

All, We will be at Scrub that night in a Helia 44 Wide Ranger. Stop by for a pain killer.

Sounds like a few TTOL sundowner parties are in order that week.

Here is what our typical flag setup looks like to locate that pain killer.

We went nov 25 and it was full well before at 400 had to anchor at marina caye at the edge , with 15 other anchorings. If you want a mooring it's got to be much earlier.

Anyone have any comments on the weekly friday night parties at Trellis that I am now seeing advertised? Just curious how well attended they are and whether they are as much fun.

Exact same thing last July.

Life involves risks, take some prudent ones (NOT with the BVI ferries)!
