Does anyone have any information on the Billy Folly Road closure that is supposed to take place from 8pm to 2am tonight? Does this mean you cannot drive up to Simpson Bay Resort from Welfare Road?

This story says it's a 'partial' closure, so I guess that means traffic will be backed up, but you should be able to get through eventually.

@ Atrium now. No problem. Dug a trench across road by entrance to upper parking, but cars could get through over the metal plates.

The Daily Herald article didn't use the word "partial", so we got home right at 8, just in case. They were setting up then, but we were able to get through witbout incident.

It really did say partial, Georgia.This is taken from the article.
The junction will be partially closed from 8.00PM to 2.00AM.
We came home much later with no problems.
