......tHe name of the place at STARZ COMPLEX that replaced the Sugar Cane Cafe?
So! We ended up at this place this evening, having wanted a lite and casual meal. It is really very, very nice and very good value for the dollar. The burgers were great, so DH and friend said, and the grilled snapper was also excellent.

I believe that is the location of The Grill, owned by Dino Jagtiani who also owns Temptation.

Thank you, and Yes, that's the place I'm thinking of but I don't know the name and also wondering if it's very casual or resort casual? Not looking to get dressed up and just want to grab a burger tonight.....

Pat, I hope you try Basilica Restaurant in that location. It has always been quiet---but I think the word is getting out. I hope they do well. If you like gnocchi they are great---also the panne cotta. I know I have posted this a lot!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />

Pat--I'm sure you've already made your choice for this evening, but hope you did decide on Dino's place, as it sounds wonderful!

Terry,
We've enjoyed Basilico in the past along with Cuginis which we also enjoyed. There's another Italian restaurant slightly across the street from the Royal Palms and tucked into a little strip of shops, and IMHO, it is perhaps the best true Italian food I've ever had on the island, and rates back to the quality of Sebastiano's in GC for those who might remember that from back in the day......

TY, Elizabeth, right you are as usual. How do you remember all these little details!? Amazing!! We were there last trip with a very special friend and felt the food was out of this world, and this coming from one who isn't generally a major Italian food lover.
