Does anyone have recommendations on renting a crib or finding reliable babysitters in SXM? Thanks in advance.

Where are you staying? Most timeshares I think you can get a crib from the resort. Babysitters? I wouldn't have the faintest idea and the concept would make me nervous.

thanks for the suggestion but it is our friends' home, and they manage it themself, and... no crib.

Try Pack Light. They don't have cribs listed but on their website it says "More?" so it might be something they could get for you. I thought they use to be a sponsor here.

OK, perhaps they are letting you use it for a reduced price? Regardless, I would ask them for a suggestion, on both counts..

I'm afraid I have not heard good things about Island Nannies, and their website no longer exists in any case. Have you personally used them recently, Islandgem?

I have not used them, but others have liked them in the past. The link gave you all the info regarding prices etc..Perhaps you could ask the manager of the villa you are renting. They may know somebody in the area.

Perhaps your friends/owners have maids that might step up or church kids maids know
