For shoppers: FYI there are 2 sxm photo calendars that I found. Rectangular ones & more expensive ones that have ring binding. Unless they changed from last year the ring coiled ones start the week on Monday not Sunday as we are used to. The large rectangular ones are available at shipwreck on front street for 7.95.

I purchase the SXM calendars every year and you can purchase them in all the shipwreck stores on the island and also in Lord and Hunter store near the Red Piano in Simpson Bay.Great pictures and memories throughout the year!

Oddly enough, the Maho Market was a good place to buy them.
You just reminded me that I completely forgot to buy a 2016 calendar when I was there. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" /> I'm kicking myself now......so upset.... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Sad.gif" alt="" />

Its not as much fun but you can order on line from www.shipwreckshops.com. They charge $6 shipping for each calendar. Cheaper than another flight. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

I believe you have to call. I didn't receive any response the time I emailed them.

I also emailed them a couple of days ago about buying 2 calendars and shipping them to separate addresses and received this reply today: Price for each calendar plus shipping (regular mail) to USA is $ 13.95. You would need to provide your mailing addresses, phone numbers and payment information for us to proceed. We accept all major credit cards and checks. Order will be process upon receipt of payment. 2 calendars @ $ 7.95 = $ 15.90 2 Postage @ $ 6.00 = $ 12.00 Total : $ 27.90 Regards, Navita Indarjeet Shipwreck Shops St. Maarten Tel: +1 721 542 5358 Fax: +1 721 542 3979 Email: rindarjeet@shipwreckshops.com

Always amazes me when companys double the shipping when both are in the same package. Doesn't cost any more but they charge more. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cloud.gif" alt="" />

Think they were being shipped to two different locations.

NO, NO, NO, PEOPLE !!! Go to any online calendar-making site, and just make your own 2016 calendar, using YOUR OWN TRIP PHOTOS. We do this every single year.

Depending on the weight of the item being shipped, adding another could easily increase the shipping cost. It is a more personal calendar, for sure and a good suggestion. We have done it ourselves once and it was a very nice momento. Some people don't take pictures on island though, or don't want to be bothered with doing it online, or they want pictures of different areas of the island. I personally would want to actually see what the pictures are of before I bought it, but that's probably just me.

That's kind of funny, I never know how they decide on those things. That's why I like to actually see a calendar before I buy it.

Other than the garbage collection schedule the city sends out, I haven't had a calendar in years. Date info is always at your fingertips these days. I am sure the pictures in the SXM calendar are nicer than those in the garbage collection schedule however.

You're right about how it's always at our fingertips with our devices.....but my SXM calendar is generally for my workspace.
Seeing the SXM calendar on the board over my desk is like the horse and carrot.....reminds me why the hell I'm even there some days...lol. I look at pictures of the beach and know why I need money. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />
