Three years ago when we left EIS (Beef Island.)We witnessed the last flight out of EIS for AA (American Airlines). We are looking at booking our flight to the BVI in May 2016 and have found flights to EIS with AA. Has anyone used AA from SJU to EIS? Is AA alive and servicing BVI?

We just did this from Den to EIS. Unless AA intends to fly this route themselves in the future the SJU to EIS leg is a codeshare with Seaborne Airlines.

They are probably code sharing with either Cape air or Seaborne.

We were looking at booking just AA from SJU to EIS. The cost was less than Cape Air and Seabourne. We are booking two different flights SWA to SJU then AA from SJU to EIS.

You are correct the flight is with Seabourne but the cost is cheaper with AA than booking direct with Seabourne.....

If you can book it all on one ticket, do it.

When you book on two different itineraries you open yourself up to lots of complications. I would do everything possible to keep the booking with one airline. Someone then owns any problems that come up.
