I don't see any drains in the floors for the showers. Could these just be changing rooms instead?

Don't know, that's how Jeepers titled the picture, but you are probably right, perhaps changing rooms.

Yeah, I find it quite strange that they put them so close together. On the layout image you can just make out the word "Poubelles" (garbage) right by the bathrooms.

It's very difficult for me to really see what is on that layout, and while that really doesn't make sense why they would put them there by the bathrooms, I don't doubt that's what you're seeing. Someone said one of the workers said there were supposed to be showers, but there is no way that other building is big enough for showers and restrooms..

Yes, these are the new garbage areas. They have them in a lot of places on the French side.

Hopefully, each restaurant/bar will have 1 or 2 bathrooms .... or 3, like The Perch.

I just think in back of the parking would be better than 5 FEET away from the bathrooms, where everyone will have to smell it...

Yep. Nothing like the smell ofsun baked garbage to put you in the mood. And I bet there isn't a daily pick up.

I will ask again today. Maybe everything didn't stay the same as photo. If that's garbage its really close to where people are eating in kontiki.

I think the worker just told me what he thought I wanted to hear maybe. Lol. Those garbage bins will be close to kontiki. No one working there this afternoon to ask. Temperature is at least 90F today at orient & not much breeze. Hot hot! not complaining though. Bikini beach has really nice menu.
