Tried to eat here week of 10/24-31/2015 but was closed for complete makeover . All one level dining, new enlarged deck/ bar-area. Was waiting for stove exhaust parts to arrive when we left on 31st. Read that parts arrived on 11/3/15 and he planned to open 11/6 Friday night. SO my question is has anyone been there since he reopened and have any comments on new area for dining. Thanks

Friends were on the island last week and ate there the night they reopened. This was Nov. 6. They indicated service was quick and the same great pizza for those who like Pizza Galley. Expanded dining area and much more seating according to my friends.

That's good news. We eat there at least once every year and we have never been disappointed.

Pizza Galley has the worst pizza we have ever tasted..rather eat cardboard with cheese and sauce on it..

You are entitled to your opinion. The quality of the pizza is not what was initially asked. It was about the new dining area.

There must be a few people who enjoy the pizza there as this appears to be a major expansion and not the first one that has occurred there.

There are a TON of people who love Pizza Galley! I'm not one of them, but they have legions of fans! (..for some reason.. )

Yep and the popularity just seems to be increasing. By the time you have a few pizzas, garlic bread, salads and wine between a few people, it is not all that inexpensive either.

Where is this place exactly? Their website only says "Airport Road."

Pretty much across the road from Royal Palm Beach Resort. Very near the drawbridge.

Heck, I don't like that place either!! Meanwhile, for a really nice thin crust pizza, Kakao on Orient!!

I will agree on that. Pizza Pasta is the place I think you are referring to . They have been there a long time but I have never been impressed.

Hmmmm, we have only been to Pizza Pasta behind the casino once or twice (and, btw, thought our meals were excellent for what we had and what we spent....) but I was amazed at how many residents we ran into there, and how many we know who live on island and enjoy the place. Personally, while finding both the food and prices to be okay, I didn't like the fact you were so close to your neighbor, and the heat in there was unbelievable, which is often the norm for places Iike that. And we do know many who love the food there and often do take-out from PP as one of their favorites, all of which has absolutely nothing to do with Pizza Galley, where I've never been, but then, we aren't major Italian food eaters when on the island..

Respectfully,

pat

Selena will be back to operate Pizza Pasta, I have heard. It had not been the same since she left to have her baby. I am sure that she will regain the family reputation of providing good Italian food at reasonable prices. Looking forward to the spaghetti carbonara and pizza.

Well I've always used Tropical Car Rental.
They are super nice and I usually get through pretty quickly. Their rates are also very competitive.
