Hello,
we will be about 4 boats sailing from SXM to BVI in Feb. 16. Our port of entry to BVI will be Gun Creek. I guess I cannot buy any LIME Sim Cards there.

So if anybody from Lime is reading this, is there a chance to get 5-10 SIM cards mailed ahead to my home?
Of course we'll pay for postage etc.

You can DM me or answer this thread. Thank you all very much.
Best
Christian

Used mrsimcard.com for a Bahamas SIM. Delivered to Canada with a week, worked perfectly. Should be even easier delivering to the US.

MrSimCard is great. Have used 4 times with no issues.

Thank you all!
I am aware of Mrsimcard.com - but they charge at least 60$ for a card which goes for 10$ in store. But this may be the fallback...

there is a Lime store in Spanish Town, I bought a $50 data plan and they gave me the card for free.

Does anyone know why you can top up minutes online, but have to go to a lime store for data?

Also I was told when we got our hot spot/phone last week, we were told if we don't use it for 90 days, the SIM is deactivated.

As far as I know you can top up money and afterwards you can sent a SMS with a code which activates a data plan

you can top off on line, done it many times. You might have to do it through your phone account. As to being deactivated, if you online and add a couple of bucks, you will be good

Hi Christian,

Since nobody from LIME seems to care <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> we would be delighted to help. In fact we have just released several new pre-paid plans that might be of interest. We are now offering caribbean wide roaming with one number on one plan with no roaming charges. You also have the ability to include the US, UK & Canada to the bundle so you can use it there for a small add on fee. Details below. PM me to follow up, I'm happy to ship them to you in advance and you can activate them when you are travelling.

Pan Caribbean Pre-Paid Voice Bundles
Mins Data Price USA, Canada & UK Price Term
500 1GB $129 $149 30 days
1000 3Gb $229 $249 30 days
1500 5GB $299 $319 30 days
Includes all calls to Digicel Caribbean (excluding Haiti and Jamaica) fixed and mobile and all calls to USA, USVI, Puerto Rico, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Spain & Italy.

All the best

Kevin
