Is there any truth to the rumor that Le Belle Epoque has closed? I've heard from a friend who is on island that it is closed for good, not just for the September holiday. Please say it isn't so!

Automatic translator translated that to:
"This time....C' is finished!!!"
That sounds like a permanent closure to me.

Same here, we loved having lunch there. Our favorite pizza and salad place, always friendly service. We'll miss it.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

The critic was written in november but they went last august !! Here 's the link : Great and affordable french cuisine. Good, friendly service and amazing food and wine. Good prices! That's the problem with a lot of TA reviews--they are often posted MANY months after the person visited the establishment.

Once you are a member, they pretty much hound you for reviews.
I think they are ok for hotel reviews but don't put a lot of faith in some of the restaurant reviews.

La belle epoque is closed. The owner of la croissanterie says they've been trying to find a buyer but nothing yet.
