Anyone been up there? Can anyone go in or is it only for Sonesta guests? We recently bought a timeshare next door, over at LaPlage and wil be on island in a couple of weeks, and would certainly like to go check it out one night while there. And any thoughts on how decent Sky Beach is?

You enter from near the Red Piano, go up stairs and then it is up to you to decide. Has great potential, we did not stay well enough into the eve to see it it became a place I would want to spend time. No Sonesta membership required.
Cheers, Todd

It's nice up there. Monday nights are Mojito Mondays. They are $6 and they usually have a DJ playing. It gets busy around midnight.

We went there in July. Had been anxious to try it out. DIDN'T mix well with our crowd even though I had pre-checked the place and asked several times about bringing our group up there. It is way too mellow for a large group. It's more for a romantic kind of night or maybe 2 couples. The bartenders were very nice and went overboard to accommodate the people in our group but the hostess or whoever she was, hovered around and was really nervous with us being there.(She was the same one who I asked and told me "we like a lively group". Well they really don't. We would have had a better time staying at Sopranos!) We didn't stay too long. There is lots of nice romantic seating. Sand to put your toes in. View is just ok unless you stand up and look over the side. Really only a view of Maho. Worth giving it a try once but we won't be going back.

We loved it there.. Great ambience. We were not planning a whole evening there. Just cocktails. This a on our list every time we come to St. Martin. Absolutely gorgeous.. Nicest roof top bar on the island!!

It was closed when we traveled last to SXM. Hoping to go for either Monday Mojito's or Patron night for the ladies, on Wednesday.

We were there on a Sat night probably 10:30/11? Problem was that we had been having a great time at Sopranos but thought we would make one more stop. There was nothing going on and our group was just too much for this venue. PLEASE check it out! It is a beautiful place. Just saying it is a very mellow kind of place. Our group definitely would have livened up the place, think the bartender was into it but the hostess was not. If you are looking for a quiet night cap this is the place! If not, don't bother

David and Louise Yikes! The great group below sounds like all of us from BSV. That has kind of been on a Bucket List to try. Think we can behave?

Come on Pam, our group have been well behaved before at establishments, I don't remember when, but I think we have. It must be a BSV group thing, right PreK176(Laurel)?

If you guys can't behave, DON'T go!! LOL Worth checking out once. Don't walk into the place with drinks from any other establishment, DON'T touch the big lighted balls!!, DON'T put your feet up to get comfy, but have fun!! Seriously it is a nice place but very, very mellow

Let's pick a night and all go. David and I can behave but I don't know about Mike & Evan Although, it's been 2 full years since we've been on the island. I will probably not behave at all on any given night and possibly well into the following days!
Ladies drink free shots of patron between 9 and 10 on Wednesdays.

Louise - Shots of Patron would put me in the category described by Wingman, as "I don't remember". That said, I am game. Mike is controllable, Evan is "iffy", (if I remember correctly).

Well Mike, we were BSV guests but not well received. Best that you don't tell them you guys are staying at BSV! LOL Actually this place was on my bucket list for a couple years so glad that I finally got there! Thought it would be a good place for the group to wind down after our Walking Pub Crawl but I was wrong. Think the "kids" would have preferred to stay at Sopranos!!
