As I think about our upcoming trip, many dishes come to mind:

Stewed conch: Yvettes (with dumplings)
Conch salad: L' Escargot
Conch tempura: Villa Royale

Best tasting Mussels: Bistrot Caraibes (also has best smoked salmon and ginger rum digestif
Best Overall mussel experience: Sunset Cafe
@GCBC

Best goat stew (not curried): Le Ti Coin Creole
Best curried goat: Villa Royale

Best high-LDL grilled grouper: Caribbean Blend

Since we are talking abuot various great recipes, there is one thread in the recepe forum about "Margarita Shimp", how about we do some others along the same theme.

Never can have enough good food! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" /> Besides bringing some of the island taste to home is not a bad thing! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

Actually later this afternoon we are dong a bunch of chicken wings (double dip and deep fried) for football season (notice how chicken wings go UP in price once footbal season starts! ) <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" /> Some will be for tomorrow and rest go into the freezer for later, then just heat in the oven and coat with the hot wing sauce.

Terrible the things we have to do! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> But then... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" /> Except our team sucks! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" /> But then there is always hope. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> No not really, but .............. we have not given up the season yet. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

Mine, too. Andy once had my friend and I into the kitchen to watch them make them. Told us all of the prep and ingriedients. Thought we would remember them. No such luck. I know there were several steps and tequila and Frank's was involved. Can anyone else help remind us.

I never caught Andy at the right time, he was always too busy in the kitchen to show me even though we had talked about it several times. I know he used a lot of butter and when I asked if he used lime he said no, triple sec which is why I went out and bought that product.

We had many a dinner at their home but never thought to ask about recipes while there.

Lots of votes for shrimp! My best ever was an appetizer at Astrolabe that was Foie gras made 4 different ways...crazy good but many years ago.
