Two of us arrive via ferry on Oct 25th, plan to rent a car and stay 1 night at Sebastian's, then sleep aboard on Moorings the night of Oct 26th. Trying to decide if it's worth it to keep a rental car 2 extra days in order to pick up crew from ferry dock on Tuesday the 27th and shuttle us all to Bomba's party, or just have the 4 of them take a taxi to Moorings and then the 6 of us taxi to and from Bombas on Oct the 27th.
Anyone good at math and logistics care to help me figure out the best plan?
(Repeat visitors, know where we are going, at least one of crew tends to remain sober. Yes, being sober at Bomba's Full Moon Party sounds horrible.)

That's a no brainer. Figure $70/day for the rental or $72 each way ($12/pp) plus tips to Bomba's from Road Town for 6 people. Then add in taxi fares from the ferry ($5/pp from the RT ferry terminal or $10 from West End. Then add in the convenience of having transportation so you are not confined to Wickham Cay II for two days.

Thanks, GlennA. See that you may be joining us at the Cat Fight for a quickie. Would love to say "hey". We are Cat Fight Virgins, so I'm looking for tips for making it fun. We won't be racing, just looking for some fun times. Our crew will be in togas. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/King.gif" alt="" />

I'm with GlennA - being "in charge of my own destiny" is much better than waiting on taxis! Especially if one of the group will be a designated driver on the nights where the rest of the group will be drinking! A rental is definitely the way to go!
