It seems so weird to look at the webcam this morning and see NO chairs or umbrellas.. It's still a little early in the day, but surprised I didn't see anyone even walking the beach--although of course the Club itself is closed at the moment.

Today is the 1st day of their annual closure, but even last week there was only one row of yellow umbrellas with plenty of space in between. There were even "civilian" umbrellas up front. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

When do they reopen? AND is the Perch open during this closing? (33 days for us)

They will be closed through Sept. They have stated that the Perch Bar will be open Tues. thru Sat. Probably because those are Willie's regular days off?

Looking at the camera this morning, perhaps it is the lack of chairs, but it appears that Danny deposited some sand and the beach has grown.
There's a small fortune to be made in racing; just start with a large one.

The beach looks great. They do a good job of cleaning it up. The flag has been missing for several days. Looking forward to checking it out in three weeks!
