This is the first time I went at this time of the year. Like to hear if this is a good time.

We have visited twice in early November...it is an excellent time to go. The closures from low season are over, the water temp is still very warm, and the high season crowds haven't yet picked up. There is always the small chance of hurricane throughout November, so be sure to get trip insurance. Have a great time!

Pepcats,

Our very first trip to the island was the first week oh November, 1973 and it has forever remained one of my very favorites for just that reason. We had the most incredible week - not one drop of rain, perfect weather in every other way and temps that were delightful.....and we've done many instant replays over the years.

That said, it is the tail end of the hurricane season and one just never knows. We still go in later November often but from our perspective, there is no wrong time to go. I would, however, advocate trip insurance just in case. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Respectfully,

pat

We always go the beginning of November. Sometimes a bit of rain, but for the most part, never a washout and always a good time. This year we'll be there 11/7 - 11/21.

We're down last week in October into November. It's a great time to go!! We love the Halloween party's at Red Piano, Toppers and a few others. At one time SSBB had a GREAT party!!! We love it, the beaches aren't crowded and those restaurants that were closed are looking forward to the beginning of high season. You'll a great time!!!

Sand Gravity, got to love it!
