Day 1

6 of us ( wife, son's X 2, GF's X 2 ( theirs not mine))flew from New Orleans to St Thomas via Delta, arrived a little before 4:00 pm our scheduled arrival time. Love sitting in the back of the plane on the last leg because of the ability to deplane from the front and the back. A quick toast at the Cruzan Rum Bar, retrieve our checked luggage, text to Kevin Campbell and we are on our way across the street to Best Western Caribe Hotel. We had two rooms facing the bay, clean, air con, big enough and comfortable. Kids (all over 20) enjoyed a free rum punch at the bay side bar. We then walked over to BW Emarald Beach to put our feet in the water and enjoyed some cocktails and dinner ( Mahi sandwiches and cheese burgers in paradise), yes we are now in the Islands! Early to bed to make up for lost sleep the night before.

Day 2
Kevin picked us up at 7:45 am to catch the 8:30 am ferry from Charolette Amalie. A quick stop at Mc Donald's in FrenchTown for the kids. I told Kevin we should just leave them there. He said good idea Tony, Phyllis gave me the stink eye. Honestly it worked out we left them and went to theFerry dock, unloaded luggage, and purchased the ferry tickets. Yes, Kevin returned with the kids. It rained a little prior to and on the ferry but cleared quickly. The ferry departed on time. We sat inside initially but once the rain stopped we moved up top, nice ride and views. We were escorted to Sopers Hole by a seagull. We waited for some to get off the ferry, waived to our friends who live on the hill above da Best Cup and headed off to Road Town. The line at Customs moved swiftly, shortly we were loaded up in Andrews taxi and off to TMM. SV Mardi Gras was front and center, all ready for us. We said hello to the awesome TMM Staff, checked the inventory of beer and spirits from our previous voyages left behind then went to RTW and Riteway for provisions, water, water, rum, rum, rum, beer, beer, ting, ting, bread. TMM provides free taxi fare for 2 to go to Riteway and back. Back to the boat with provisions, water tanks full. Left the dock at 2:00. We motored to Cooper, as wind was coming directly from Cooper. Many mooring balls available when we arrived. Enjoyed cocktails ashore, played the Penny Drop Game and darts. Met a nice family from Florida, Marina and Lewis, hope to meet them at Scrub later in the week. Grilled Mahi Burgers for dinner.

Day 3- Wreck of the Rhone, Leverick Bay, Saba Rock... More to come
