As a very frequent visitor both by sea and by land (30 years) to the BVI, like many I have seen many changes--some good and some not so good. I just returned from 10 days on land staying at the home of a friend. We had occasion to go down to the cruise ship pier. I must say that I was absolutely appalled by the condition of the whole area. Messy, totally uncompleted, I cannot imagine the view of a passenger disembarking there. To return to the ship one must walk through a construction area, dusty, dirty. I also understand they are way over budget and in no way finished. I wonder, given Disney's image for squeaky clean appearance, how they will feel in 2016 if this situation is not resolved. They claim most of the village will be completed by October but mean time NCL will only be paying half the $15 landing fee. The Ports Authority is borrowing money from anywhere they can to get it completed.
