Not nearly enough , but 7 hours is better than no time in SXM at all.
Our first cruise, we stopped at Aruba - not impressed, Curacao-much nicer than Aruba, SXM, then St Thomas, which was nice.
Literally the first ones off the boat in SXM, we walked as fast as we could to the car rental, the yelling ensued, Andy thought it was all great fun- I cant stand that ! Got a car, and what a piece of you know what. We were very lucky it made it through the day. **note to Lesley Bruce, thanks for having such great rental cars !!**
Got some gas in Simpson Bay, and by the way the traffic getting there (8:30am) almost non - existent- so nice.
Only made one wrong turn trying to find our favorite, Plum Bay, and there it was! Beauty!! We joined about 6 other people on the whole beach. The water was so calm and so blue and so warm! After about two hours, some families started to come, so we vacated. It was so wonderful....****sigh****
Made our way to Orient Beach via Marigot, now theres a mistake for ya. We were paid back for the earlier lack of traffic. One hour to get from Terres Basses to OB. That was a very long hour. The good side is we got to see all the way around the island. Everything was so green & lush and the flowers were so vibrant- by June it is much drier and few blooming flowers.
Great to be back on Orient, much more crowded than we have seen it, but again goes back to the time of year we normally go. It didn't matter! Adrian came out to greet us, still such a great guy, had a rum punch and the caribes started flowing

Andy & Cheryl looked great, were well, and those muscles ala Andy...words cannot describe

Had to pack up and go way to soon. Took the car back and made the long walk on the pier. Oh how I would have LOVED to be late and miss the boat.
Totally cried when we pulled away, I knew it was coming and so did Andy.
Truly, we haven't seen anywhere yet that we would like to be more.
