I will touch on just a few things, as I have already posted the photoshow. The new terminal is terrific-no comparison to the old. We stayed at Divi Little Bay and were again warmly welcomed by Walter, Marisol and Geraldine at the restaurant. They really make you feel welcome and the food is excellent. We also ate at Cheri's and had ice cream at Haagendaaz before playing at Casino Royale. We ate at Calmos while exploring Grand Case (and I learned that I was not pronouncing Grand Case correctly). I am a beach person and enjoyed Great Bay, Little Bay, Maho, Mullet, Cupecoy, Long, Plum, Rouge, Friar's, Happy, Orient, Dawn and (almost) Guana. Guana Beach looked beautiful from a distance and I wasn't sure how exactly to get to it. It seemed as though there was an unofficial parking area a distance from the beach, but I did not check it out. This will be on my to do list for 2009.
The traffic wasn't bad, unless the drawbridge was up. I lost my keys second day and unfortunately, St. Louis Rental Car had no backup key. The vehicle had to be towed. I paid the additional $275.00 charge and will use them again.
Wild Bill and Pat hosted the TTOL party at Shrimpy's on Friday the 13th, and we had a great time exchanging stories with Greg and Karen, Patty (sungoddess), Laurel and Jeff, Bill and Pat, Michelle and Connie and others. The fried grouper was outstanding. It's a great place for a party.
I asked about the possibility of improving the entrance to Divi Little Bay Resort. I was told the the land that they need on the west side of the entrance was owned by a third party who wants a million dollars for the rights. I am not holding my breath! See you Easter Week 2009!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />
