I'm not sure I would agree that Karakter was the worst thing to happen to Simpson Bay, but it certainly has created a total gridlock in that area and the area where Zafiro is, would be probably in worse shape if something like Karakter gets going there.

Was there last sat, October 24. Bert just took over and we had one of the BEST lunches all week there! The Mediterranean burger was delicious as were the shish kebabs. He showed us a room and it was gorgeous! This will likely be a destination not to be missed.

To clarify things: according to Nicole, she and Ed have NOT sold El Zafiro. In her words, "No El Zafiro was not sold nor under new ownership. We teamed up with Bert to better provide more of a rapid response to all of the requests that we have been getting. It will be the same concept as before; peace of mind and tranquility. We're making improvements for the better & I'm positive you will love the place even more than before."
