We made our reservations in April for our October trip. They just called and cancelled our flights coming and going on our dates AND our crews flights that are coming in a week later. Ugh!!! They refunded our money and we have already rebooked on Cape Air. Actually ended up saving $350.00 Just a warning for those that have booked with SA to check their flights.

They code share with AA. I hope there is not a problem. I was looking at using them at Christmas time.

We booked separately but our friends booked thru AA. They still had to rebook. Seaborn cancelled the afternoon flights going to Beef (5:45). And the 9:00 and 12:00 going to SJU. Maybe because October is a slow month. Maybe you will be fine at Xmas time.

We had the same thing happen last November. We ended up having to spend the night in San Juan and take a flight the next day to Beef Island. We booked code share with AA. For our up coming trip in Oct. we booked Air Sunshine instead.

2 months ago SA did the same thing to us on our inbound from SEA to EIS. We were originally on the 1:30 SJU-EIS, they cancelled that and bumped us up to the noon flight. That worked because it got us in sooner. Then AA moved the time of our first leg so that we could not make the noon connecting flight. We did not even arrive in SJU until after the flight left. Then they were going to put us on the 5:30 flight, oops no it was booked, overnight in SJU then at your own expense. BS. I called AA as I had booked thru them dealt with a really nice supervisor, and was rerouted to STT on the inbound. Was able to secure our upgrades and I'm OK with that. Looking to book AS from STT to EIS today. Not into dealing with ferry roulette unless there is no other choice.

I have never had any issues with Air sunshine other than delays of an hour or two. Just leave lots of time between flights.

Just checked our November flight with Seaborne and right now it is still a go. STT to SJU.
We do a direct to STT from ROC for the way down with Delta (can't beat leaving ROC at 6 am and being on STT by 12:35 pm) and are using a credit from Seaborne and miles from Southwest to get back via SJU. Timing of flights was the major factor in flying different carriers on the way down and back.

AA just changed our outbound times for SJU to leaving 3 hours earlier. We wouldn't even be there yet on the Cape Air flight I bought last week. Called CA and they changed for me with no charge. Great company!
