I think I'd like to be adventurous and try the Jet xtreme body pack flying thing.. (at my age that might be stupid)... I'd like to know if anyone has done it, and if it's 'worth' it.... I heard they left Kim Shaw and are only at Baie Nettie.. and since I'll be with someone who probably won't want to do this... what are some cool things to do in Baie Nettie? thanks all.. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

NEVER MIND PEEPS.. Just heard back from company.. this activity is discontinued. I should have taken the chance last year... but it was my last day,,,, i was tired.. blahblah... I didn't feel like finding out how much time it would take to train and actually DO IT, so I put it off... and now it's gone. ah well..

If you haven't done the 12 Metre Challenge I highly recommend it... there are positions for all physical abilities and it is definitely a lot of fun. Best dine on days with ships in so one or two other boats are crewed.

This is a long hose attached to a jet ski/high output pump at one end, and the other end is attached to a jet pack strapped to the victim's back. We sat at Palm Beach one afternoon a couple of years ago watching novices trying to master it. Lots of very painful looking head first impacts into the water at awkward angles. Looked like a good way to break your neck or lose consciousness and possibly drown.

The jacket has been replaced with boots. I think this may be easier to learn.
