Just a quick post to comment on the new "Marina Market" in Red Hook. Moe's Fresh Market is sweet. Great food selection, nice alcohol section upstairs, excellent meats, and nice staff. We ordered meats frozen about a week ahead of time and everything was ready when we arrived. The Queen Snapper and Swordfish were excellent! Although prices are higher than a place like Plaza Extra, you certainly could provision your entire charter there if money wasn't a big concern. I really hope they can make it profitable... on another note, XO Bistro was super. Gluten free menu was a plus for my oldest who has Celiac Disease. Overall, Red Hook is looking good!

That is great news!
I hope they make it also.

We provisioned there for a charter with IYC last November. Using an identical list we had used in the past for Bobby's on Tortola, the total was about 10% less, and the quality of the meat and produce was much higher.

Unfortunately, our first night out cooking on the grill my beautiful rib-eye dove overboard so I never got to enjoy it.

nice to hear about Moe's the second floor should help. We loved Marina Market, great meat and seafood department, albeit a little pricey.

Moe's was awesome. We had packed (with Techni-ice) enough meat for 5 meals but the meat at Moe's looked incredible. We had a personal shopper who made it fun and easy (thanks, Jr.!). Moe's kept our provisions for us in their cold locker and delivered them to the dock when our (not so great boat) came in for a touch and go. But Moe's had a great selection of everything!

We also used Moe's in April when chartering with IYC. We we very happy with them and they helped us take our provisions to the boat after we checked out.

We used food center before, but with the location Moe's is much more convienent. Costs were not that much more than food center. We will use them again.
