Well we arrived safely home about 12:30 yesterday (Thursday) morning after five weeks in SXM. We did absolutely nothing in all that time. Had some great meals and a few soso ones. A new favorite of ours is the 12 Meter Yacht Club Restaurant & Bar. Food is very, very good, plentiful and inexpensive. Other places we ate and had wonderful meals were California (twice), Tropicana (twice), Skys the Limit, Shiv Sagar, Mark's (three times), BBB, Greenhouse, Hidden Forest (twice), Pineapple Petes (three or four times). Soso meals were at Bajatzu, Main de la Pate (or whatever it is) and one other place, can't remember where. We had one breakfast at Spinnaker and quite a few at Chesterfields.
On our trip last April/May I had purchased a pair of diamond earrings at DK Gems and they hurt my ears. Brought them back and Deepti had the thingie that goes through the ear fixed so they did not hurt. And, of course, I had to buy a diamond ring (blue and white diamonds) while we were there!
