Saturday morning (Dec. 2) before our departure we made one last visit to OB with our camera. The erosion continues with much of what is OB under water. The average width of usable beach (where you put down a towel without fear of being washed away) is about 20 feet at Club O. From Pedro's to Kon Tiki the larger waves reach the restaurants and shops. From the rocks at Coco north the water reaches to the dunes for most of the beach to Mt. Vernon. This was our first visit at this time of year so we don't know if the erosion is an annual event. I have added a few more pictures to a PhotoBucket album. http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l287/lasermansxm/SXM%20Nov06/
