As the thick morning fog lifted she was starting to see her beautiful island surroundings in a much clearer light..... and her foggy memory of past events would soon catch up with her eyes! She remembered the day starting off as any other, good intentioned and innocent as usual. Crew was starting to stir and there was no particular agenda for Kim and her friends, perhaps start with a little boat prep, cleaning boats always cheers up the crew!.......

Not knowing where they would end up this day, a trip to shore to pick up some necessities at the local market seemed prudent. She finds ice just doesn't last long in the islands and to her it's much more valuable than the warm soda she cools with it. So off to shore to run a few errands and perhaps a quick game of Dominoes................

After returning to s/v Reef Song she made sure the "six pack" she had bought the crew was properly chilled with the new bounty of ice, everyone was so excited to enjoy that 1 beer at their next stop...........

OOPS Kim gasps, Ward! we have forgotten two crew members on shore! please be a dear and go fetch. Apparently these two crew members are familiar with Kim's 1 drink rule while cruising and they decided to hide away in the seagrapes until the dinghy left, then they hit the nearest beach bar and well...pictures worth a thousand words!

Later that morning after circumnavigating Tortola twice the thirsty crew grabbed a familiar mooring ball at everyone's favorite marina Leverick Bay. The marina was quiet....there was absolutely nobody to be found?? With 1 beer in hand the crew spread out in search of.....anyone!

With sweat on her brow and an empty beer raised over her head Kim yells I GOT IT, EVERYONE FOLLOW ME!

And there my friends....is where the fog came rolling in.

I'm with you Caribcrew! Seven more days and I am working all of them to get to the next trip! Great pics of places I hope to see with my own eyes next week as well. How about a report on weather, wind/sea conditions if you have a second and can still operate your electronic device after the imbibing.

Haha...a couple of chill days were in order in Lee Bay. Guests have all departed . weather has been great. So far just a few spits of rain since our arrival on May 9th. a wee north swell the past few days but nothing a hearty sailor can't use to rock to sleep with . swell down today . great sailing winds coming back today ...very light wind past few days which makes for hot nights..wind guru has been pretty much right on ....

Good luck with those next few work days...the reward is spectacular as you know...safe travels.
