Can you use them? Seems isolated at that time. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/typing.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/typing.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/typing.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/typing.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/typing.gif" alt="" />

I have stayed at Club O many times and I have never seen the chairs used in the manner in which you are implying. I'm not saying that never happens but most people from Club Orient would never have any public displays of affection. That is not the kind of outdoor activity that takes place there.

Manner in which I am implying ?? Where is your dirty mind going?? We usually sit with friends, with a nice bottle of wine for hours, solving the World's problems. We have never seen any PDA either.

Pretty hard not to jump to that conclusion with the emoticon you chose. That doesn't say wine and conversation to me.

As Georgia said, that's about the only conclusion one could reach, from what you posted. I would surmise that the vast majority of people who read your note thought the same thing.

Thank you, GAK and Carol. Those were my thoughts, too.
I'm not one to get tense over punctuation errors, or writing errors in general because I think we all make them now and then, but there is a reason for the use of punctuation marks and because of the punctuation used, I drew the same conclusions. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

I think the original poster's question has been answered, yes. I will say that I wasn't upset with what I (and most others <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />) THOUGHT you meant anyway. I personally have seen extracurricular activities in the water in broad daylight. Those folks may well not be naturists though.. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

Before it's closed - the chair guys are often still there at 4 PM, & I've seen them tell late-arrivers that they would have to pay to use them.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

We also stay at CO and often after dinner a couple of folks will go sit in the chairs to chat. Everyone is full, happy and there does not seem to be the bugs by the water that is up by the units at times. Also if the group gets loud no one cares and there is usually a security guy around the Perch area.

We just returned after 3 weeks on the beach and the beach guys collected the umbrellas and were gone shortly after 4:00 PM every day. We usually stayed until the sun went down behind the mountain about 6:00 PM. Not once did I see anyone try to ask for payment after the umbrellas were put away for the day. For us, that's one of the best times of the day. Watching the water turn from aqua to dark blue makes your beach day seem complete.

My wife and I and 3 other couples had dinner at Papagayo last week. After dinner we all left the restaurant together and walked down the beach. There was a full moon and the air was warm and the wind light. We swam out to the raft and back. The water was still warm. A perfect ending to another perfect day on Orient Beach.
