Since we have some new members here, this is an informational post on how to post a photo within a note: On TTOL ANY note can have a photo included. It is up to you the individual poster to do it. The photo has to be on the internet somewhere and then just link it in the note. How to link it in the note: In the note screen you have the various smilies and the "instant TTOL Code". Simply click on the "image" button in the instant ttol code section. That will first bring up a pop up box for the URL of the photo that you want to link. (easy way is to have a second window open) then paste or type in the URL of the image specifically. Not the homepage of your site but the specific image. For example this would be an image inside of a post: It is really easy, and we have many more options available and can even do more. This is just a sample of what TTOL can offer you.

Ok, so you may want to post a full slide show or something similar. We can not host a full slide show, but we can have a FULLY active LINK to your slide show or photo album. For example, webshots - does not allow linking of pictures from an outside source. But that does not mean that you can not still make your photos available. Not only that, but say you have a full slide show -- a single picture does not work --- so make a "clickable link" within the message! For example: Our Africa Trip slide show Simple press the URL button on the ttol instant code and copy and paste your url and a title of your choosing. Instant link within a note on TTOL. We have only begun to scratch the surface of what there is available! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Blush.gif" alt="" />

Forgot to mention, YOU do not even have to be a registered member to take advantage of these features. (Meaning the picture posting and linking ability.)
Should we get the request and need then we can and will setup a seperate Africa photo gallery, then you would need to be registered to upload to the servers. Like I said before, we do have some additional capabilities, just want the desire to take advantage of them. If the need is there, then we will make it available.

Also, if you are trying out something and not sure if it's going to work, you can always post in the "test" forum, to see if it works, or just use the 'preview' button.

Tried to work with your links, but I was getting the log in page, no picutres at all.
The link should also end with the specific picture, for example it would be: mypicture.gif or mypicture.jpg
Post the public link that will access your photos and I might be able to post an example.

One easy suggestion:
Right click ON THE PHOTO (thats hosted on the net) and select Properties then highlight and copy the URL link shown in the properties box. This is a surefire way to get the correct URL for a photo that you wish to embed in a post.
