There is an ad in one of my magazines that promotes its new St. Martin & West Indies cruises starting in November 2015. The interesting things about them is that it aboard the Pearl Mist which carries only 210 pax, they use the French spelling of the island, and they are also going to Saba and St. Barts. I wonder if this is the trip that the French were trying to get to stop in Marigot, although the map in the ad looks like they are dropping anchor in Simpson Bay. They are not looking for travelers who want a cheap cruise. Their prices start at about $2,500 per person and top out at $8,500 per person.

Not familiar with that cruise line, but as far as I'm concerned, it's a good thing for the island if the cruise is home ported in SXM, if that's what you're saying.

No, they originate in Puerto Rico. Other stops are in the BVI, USVI, Antigua, St. Kitts and Nevis. They have a web-site but I don't have it handy. I guess you could google them.

I am not much of a cruiser but that one looks pretty good. Nice ports of call not frequented by the big ones.
