......it was up early, coffee on the porch and finish packing. Yuck!! And then last minute errands - Zee Best for sandwiches for the plane and drop off the umbrellas and sand chair at 9:01. 9:01? Strange, very strange.

And finally, off to Sunset Bar for our last breakfast on the island, which in the end was only the fourth time over the whole trip we've enjoyed breakfast out. Odd....very odd.

Back to BSV for the last minute details and we're off. Well. Sort of! We picked up Lesley at his house - how convenient was that!? - and off to the airport. And here we are - all signed, sealed, delivered, checked and ready to go home. Now all we need is a plane and next stop is JFK.

There were only three people ahead of us at the JB counter so it was easy-peezy. They checked us in quickly and we are upstairs and through all the security checkpoints and ready to go. Midweek departures really are the best when it works for you. Now if only it could be this simple at JFK, and what to you think the odds of that are?!

Just missed meeting you twice. We were at Barefoot yesterday also. Today we are at Karakter. Went for a walk to BSV to see if I could find you. Guess I was too late. Have a safe trip. Love your postings. If you do Facebook check for my wife.

Glad you're all checked in and waiting without any problem. So far, it seems the flight is supposed to be on time. Hope the rest of the trip is smooth. Thanks for taking us along!!

Travel safely! The weather here is beautiful so returning to CT. should not be too shocking. It has been hot and sunny with not a cloud in the sky all week.

That is so funny. I thought about you and Lyn a few times and wondered if, unknowingly, our paths may have crossed during our island time. Hope you enjoyed your breakfast at BT and your day at Karakter.....we didn't make it there this trip as we've come to enjoy Mary's Boon just as much, but alas, no lobster salads there in low season.

Enjoy the rest of your trip and while I'm sure the villa went well, I hope the Sapphire time was okay, too. We hear such very contradictory opinions regarding what's happening there, but we often get the same thing regarding the Towers and we had two wonderful weeks there so sometimes I wonder if our personal mindset doesn't have a lot to do with our perceptions and enjoyment levels.

pat

I think you are absolutely correct there! Some people refuse to be happy, even in SXM and others, like you, always try to make the best of the situation!
