Is it necessary to make reservations with Speedy for the ferry rides to/from St Thomas and VG? We have emailed them twice since there are 6 people in our party and have not heard back from them. I don't recall making reservations in the past, but it's been awhile since we have been.
Thank you!

We never make reservations.
After landing hop over to the ferry terminal and just catch the next ferry out. You never know what's actually running or not beforehand.
We cab it with Kevin and he always knows what happening and advises us accordingly.

You do not need a reservation.

Speedy's has a pretty defined schedule on Tues-Thur-Sat for the VG - St. Thomas runs and follows it pretty closely. With that said, we've never had to make reservations ahead of time. The OP didn't say when they were traveling, but Speedy's won't be doing the Thur. runs from Sept 3 - Nov 26.

Yup - Speedy's is a different experience from the CA-Tortola routes - not quite as slapdash <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the answer....Luckily we are looking at the Saturday run on arrival and return. Travel dates are 06/13 and 06/20.
38 days until wheels up and 39 days until the ferry hits the dock in VG <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />
