When did the all sand wash out?... I just brought up their webcam. Nothing but rocks in front of SBB. There looks to be some up by Driftwood.

It was mentioned a week or so ago that the sand was temporarily gone. It will be back and probably over the road at some point.

If those rocks hadn't been put there beneath the sand, the road would be gone as well. Yes, the sand will come back. Funny, it left just as the height of the cruise ship season finished up. That crazy wind and swell the last couple of weeks moved lots of sand and weed.

That sand comes and goes, regardless of high or low season.
