Just back last night from a wonderful week on Saint John. I will keep it short and sweet.
Traveled from JFK to STT on Saturday 8:05 AA flight. Right on time. We were met at the airport by a cabbie named Ivan Nicholas who was wonderful. He took us to Red Hook for the ferry and we were getting in Island Mode.
We stayed in a rented Villa. This was the first time we tried this since we are Timeshare owners. The Villa we rented was
Villa Colorado I can not say enough about it. It was a wonderful spot not too far from Cruz Bay. It features 4 equal sized BR's each with its own Bathroom. Big selling point when traveling with other adults and not family. No wonderering who is getting the smaller rooms and beds <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> The owner was a pleasure to work with. She arranged the cab ride from the airport BTW.
Ate lunches and dinners at Banana Deck, JJ's, Panini Beach, Zo Zo's, Chilly Billy's (breakfast until 2 pm)
Drank at The Beach Bar.
Got supplies at Pine Peace Market and Starfish Market. Pine Peace has better prices on booze but Starfish has bigger selection on food.
Sunned ourselves at Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay and Hawksnest.
Sailed with Captain Sharon Allen on The Winifred.
Only negitive was the AA ride home. 1:06 flight delayed until 4:20 due to mechanical problems when leaving NY that morning.
Only thing to do now is get ready for our October trip to SXM
