Best spot for French pastries for breakfast near the ferry to Pinel? Thanks!

Sorry, I'm confused. The ferry to Pinel is in Cul de Sac, not in Grand Case. The Simply Market is in Hope Estate, which is between Grand Case and Cul de Sac, if that helps you.

On the way to Pinel, there is a French bakery on Mount Vernon Road which has great French pastries.

Depending where you are driving from, the Artisan Bakery in the middle of French Quarter is my current favorite. They make a good cappuccino/espresso as well. Prices are pretty cheap, too.

Yes, good pastries on the road toward Mt Vernon hotel. It's on the right side, looks like a house set back. Pull in off road to park.
